The oversized artwork titled #CallYourMother, follows on from Ed Young’s previous script to visual work and is immediately recognizable to those in the know and will become a gently daily reminder to those not familiar with the antics of the artworld. The chosen work is short with prominent lettering featured on the back of Notabene – a new student accommodation space located at 46 Juta Street, Braamfontein.

The family-friendly yet cheeky work states “CALL YOUR MOTHER” in large white lettering down the side of the building. The artwork is clearly visible from the N1 North and South as well as from Smit Street in Braamfontein.
