Olwethu de Vos (1992) is a full time contemporary visual artist and a curator based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She works with mixed media drawings and sculpture. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine and Applied Arts at the Tshwane University of Pretoria. Shortly after graduating she was the recipient of the Teresa Lizamore Curatorial Mentorship Programme and was part of the top 15 Thami Mnyele Fine Arts Awards. She is the co-founder of The For Sale Project Exhibition and The Blessing Ngobeni Art Prize.
