August House & Ellis House, Johannesburg
In May 2021, the META foundation did a trial run of what is now its largest project – JOINT OPEN STUDIOS.
META came together with Ellis House to present #JointOpenStudios. The event saw both buildings open their doors to the public, featuring 70 artists as well a live reading, a salt art live demonstration, a panel discussion and the “Xchange” exhibition opening, curated walkabouts and concluded with a concert on the roof of August House.
