Open Studios: August House

This event will see the Studios at August House, opening up and inviting you inside. This is a unique opportunity for the public to truly explore the visual arts and hear directly from the artists. Come and view amazing artworks, meet the artists in their studios and have a wonderful day out.

Tickets available on QUICKET  and are R50 for adults and R80 at the door. Children under the age of 15 are free.
Tickets can also be purchased on the day but will be more expensive at the Door.

Free parking will be available at Access City (located here) with a shuttle bus running to August House and back again every 15-20 minutes. There is no parking available within August House.

This event will see the Artists Studios at August House being open to the public. This unique opportunity allows guests to truly explore the visual arts and hear directly from the artists. Come and see amazing artworks, meet the artists in their studios and have a wonderful day out. We have something for everyone!!!

The programme of activities includes:

  • An interactive kids’ area
  • Over 40 artists for you to meet and see their work
  • Food & Beverages on sale
  • A shuttle service from underground parking (free of charge)
  • Two group exhibitions
