This dual physical and digital exhibition that celebrates the timeless dialogue between the past and the future. Artists participating in this curated exhibition were given the unique opportunity to select vintage objects and reimagine them as contemporary artworks, breathing new life into historic pieces. These refined artworks will be available for purchase exclusively on Welz Boutique, providing collectors with curated opportunities to acquire meaningful, sustainable art.

Sustainability lies at the heart of this initiative. By transforming vintage objects into modern art, Welz Boutique champions  environmentally conscious practices-reducing waste and promoting circularity within the luxury and art collection, inspiring both artists and collectors to consider the environmental impact of their passion.

The exhibition will be open to the public during Contra.Joburg weekend, taking place on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August. Visitors are welcome to park at Stephan Welz & Co, located at 29 Scott Street, Waverley, Johannesburg. From there, they can enjoy the exhibition before hopping on the Contra.Joburg shuttle to explore the rest of the event.
